Good Work

Happy Halloween Everyone!!! I just wanted to drop by and say keep up the good work. I know you all are going to do an amazing job this year. Keep us informed about whats going on in each of your districts. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help.

Looks like we still need to get a few more people signed in to have a full house. Let's try and get them on in the next day or so. I have football on Thursday night this week, so I might not be back on until Friday. I will try to get on during school the next couple days, but if not, I will be in touch on Friday for sure.

Hello Everyone!

Well, first of all, I'd just like to say how amazing I think you guys are! This is going to be such a great year!

Secondly, it's time to get going on the fashion show and I need your input.

-Do we want to cover all professional dress, or focus on what goes with a DECA blazer?
-When are we going to film this? I thought about our next meeting, but looking at how full this last meeting was, I'm almost certain we won't have time. Secondly, I want this video to be online and accessible before District Competition, and I don't know if that is before or after our January meeting.
-What clothing stores could potentially donate outfits for us if necessary?
-Who is going to do the filming?

I'll post more questions as they come to mind, and feel free to ask questions of your own. I think this could be a great project and resource, the question is, is it realistic? Can we do it?

Delta Epsilon Chi

At my district 8 career development conference, I am planning on incorporating an informational booth for Delta Epsilon Chi, the collegiate level of DECA. I would like to encourage other district vp's to do the same and attempt to get the word out there and increase the transition between the programs. Directed to Mr. Bunton or Dr. Lyman, whom should I go about contacting to get a representative at my conference?

I just wanted to close this by saying that I feel privileged to be a member of such a cohesive and active state action team. I look forward to working with each and every one of you, and January is way too far away, lets get together in some fashion before that.

Welcome Team 59

Hi everyone,
I had an amazing time working with everybody this weekend! On my way home I was thinking about the best way for us all to communicate and keep in touch and I think this might be it. By using blogger we will be able to read and post any questions we have at any time of the day. I am new to this site and will have to do a little more playing around with it before I get it all figured out but I think this could be a great way for us all to keep in touch and take care of business like we need to.

BOOKMARK this blog home page so it is easy for you to get back here. You probably need to plan on checking this at least a few times a week and hopefully everyone will stay involved throughout the course of the year.

I chose the black template background because I think it will go with our VIP theme. Have a good week and school and we shall talk soon.
