Well, first of all, I'd just like to say how amazing I think you guys are! This is going to be such a great year!
Secondly, it's time to get going on the fashion show and I need your input.
-Do we want to cover all professional dress, or focus on what goes with a DECA blazer?
-When are we going to film this? I thought about our next meeting, but looking at how full this last meeting was, I'm almost certain we won't have time. Secondly, I want this video to be online and accessible before District Competition, and I don't know if that is before or after our January meeting.
-What clothing stores could potentially donate outfits for us if necessary?
-Who is going to do the filming?
I'll post more questions as they come to mind, and feel free to ask questions of your own. I think this could be a great project and resource, the question is, is it realistic? Can we do it?

- I think we should cover all professional dress. Not everyone wears the blazer. Plus there are a lot more options there.
- And my District competition is in mid-February. So I assume that most others are around that time.
- I think it's a great idea too, but it will be difficult to do.
I think the first district competition is the first week in Feb. So if we were to film something when we get together in January that could work, but Lauren is right, our time schedule will be packed full, if you guys really want to do this we can make it happen though.
Talk to RAmpage to get clothing...we had a girl do fashion merchandising last year and they sponsored her...its worth a shot
Try JcPenny and Sears, they are national sponsors. Lauren, since you are in district 6 and there are several of you in this general area (districts 7, 8 and 9 are close) why don't you just use people that are here? Everyone won't be in the fashion show, but it would work. Just a thought. If all the officers in this area brought a few DECA members from their chapters, we could make it work. Let Mr. Bunton and I know if you need help.
I like Mrs. Syron's idea about getting districts like 6,7,8, and 9 together to film the fashion show. I was planning on holding a chapter meeting anyway. If no one has objections to it, let's start planning.
alright i like the idea of the local districts doing it. now i just have to revise my POA. yesssss
go for it jordan. as well as D7, D8, and D9....i'd like to get this going as soon as possible.
