Delta Epsilon Chi

At my district 8 career development conference, I am planning on incorporating an informational booth for Delta Epsilon Chi, the collegiate level of DECA. I would like to encourage other district vp's to do the same and attempt to get the word out there and increase the transition between the programs. Directed to Mr. Bunton or Dr. Lyman, whom should I go about contacting to get a representative at my conference?

Thanks again

I just wanted to close this by saying that I feel privileged to be a member of such a cohesive and active state action team. I look forward to working with each and every one of you, and January is way too far away, lets get together in some fashion before that.

Tony,
Chris Young is the guy you need to talk to for the Delta hook-up. Also, could you email me the Click for Glik letter again? I seem to have lost the one you gave me this weekend.

Hey Tony,
I also serve as State Advisor for Delta Epsilon Chi and we're working to rebuild that program, so I'm happy there's already so much interest in it from your team. Here's what we can do: I can send you contact information for the Delta Epsilon Chi State Officers. I have a variety of resources available such as flyers, a banner, etc.

Also - Cassy - NWMSU does have a Delta Epsilon Chi Chapter! They've been very strong in the competitive events department (many national winners). They took last year off but they're back this year!

What if that was something we worked on this year with DEX? We could have "advance registration" for kids that already know where they are going. Maybe have a booth with a drawing at the end for kids that pre-join?? Just a thought.

I think the "Advance Registration" is a great idea - it seems more tangible and will help us from losing connections over the summer. It shows that we've started a partnership/committment.
