Hey this is Steve, and I just wanted to encourage you all to meet with people in your district!!! make your face known. I am holding a leadership dinner in 2 weeks and we are making a "deca D1 board" This will help with taking stress off you, and hold you accountable for all that we do. I am looking foward to working with all of you this year. Steve
Currently I am outlining the plans we made this weekend for leadership development to send in to Mr. Young tomorrow. He will review those and they will be sent to you all soon.
But, the leadership plans aren't really going to require a lot out of the DVP's. I do want to encourage you though to go above and beyond the plans we have laid out. You all know your districts the best and know what you need in terms of leadership: whether it be a "Deca Board" in D1 or just e-mailing the Chapter Presidents in your District. I encourage you to your ideas and run with them this year!
