In district 2 i have been hard at work settin gup our Adopt-a-Family program. I feel it will be a bigger success this year. we are hopin gto have two families this year instead of just one. i feel it will benefit our chapter more to have the two. Also we are talking about adopting a senior adult, since no one ever wants them(how sad!!!). i am also very involed with the fundraising aspect of our schools project graduation, i am so excited to be a senior. im looking forward to seeing everyone in January. ~CaSsY~

Hey Team!

You know that feeling you get when you have been riding rollercoasters at the carnival or amusement park all day? And you are really dizzy, sort of nauseous, and generally disoriented. Well that is my life. School stuff, applications, work… it’s just insane.

On the other hand, my mom is making fudge and puddings and cookies and cakes for Thanksgiving. And Turkey too, don’t worry. As long as there is delicious food on Turkey Day, everything will be okay.

In DECA News: We met the other day to plan the fashion show, which I am extremely excited about. Also on the list of things I am extremely excited about: CRLC. We are going to have a great time. That’s about all for me, everyone enjoy your Thanksgiving.

Hola Everyone!
Well considering that my family is absolutely huge I have spent the last few days preparing for Thanksgiving at my house. We are expecting about 100-125 people! Today I peeled 50lbs of potatoes and had a 4 1/2 hour pom practice so I'm a bit exhausted lol. I am currently sitting at work being bored (I guess everyone decided they werent going to work out before they stuffed there faces tomorrow). My DECA news is a bit depressing. Only two people have given me there opinion as to which charity they would prefer using. So I may have the advisors pick if I dont recieve anymore feedback by the end of the week. But I cant wait to complete the fashion show that Wes, Lauren, Jordan and I are working on. It's going to be awesome! Hope everyone has a wonderful Turkey Day! Miss you all! - Allie

Hey all!

Life is busy as ever!
DECA news- The Leadership POA is coming along wonderfully. As you know it has been finalized and was sent to you all last week. In addition to what was listed, I have also been busy with the project of evaluating the State Officer Election Process. A survey was recently put together and sent out to all the candidates, as well as to you all. The feedback will be used to make recommendations to the Board about the process at the Dec 8-9 meeting. So please take the time to fill it out and return it! Thanks :) CRLC is coming up and I am so excited! The following two weeks will be our chapter's annual blood drive and book fair. We have high expectations and hope to have a great turn out.
On to life outside of DECA-
Well, this weekend I will be traveling to the East side, of Missouri that is. Our football team is playing in the 6A State Championship game and I am very excited. This is a huge deal for our school and we are really hoping everything goes our way. School itself is incredibly busy. Not to mention working and the three college applications that I still haven't completed. So... life is busy! I hope all is well with you. See you all in January!

Hello my dear Team 59!

so technically, i am 50 minutes late. i apologize.

on a better note, it's thanksgiving, so happy thanksgiving!

in DECA News: My school's DECA chapter is in the final phases of their fundraiser "TableShops". We've also just completed a quilt made out of all the sports and club t-shirts that will be raffled off at basketball games for H.U.G.S. (Helping Us Grow Stronger for Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital) it's much fun.

also, excitement about the fashion show! Our meeting went fantastically and I'm super stoked to have gotten an awesome start on it. Updates will appear soon!

My Life: My last musical in my high school career, Seussical, is over. It's really hard, but at least i can say us seniors went out with a bang: We sold out for the first time in over 10 years!

I got to have pink hair for the musical too. It was completely amazing. You can see it in the new picture.

Hey guys,
Here in D1 everything is starting to fire up, we are had our advisor meeting and we will soon have our d1 board meeting. Video announcements are now underway!!! Sumo Suits are a plus, we have a set business to rent from. We are planning out D1 T-shirts for competition. I have given four speeches so far to different schools and events, going along with my goal of 10 speeches this year. I wrote the first Newsletter for DECA D1 this week I will be sending it via E-mail wednesday. Been extremely busy lately with school, work, and colleges. In the long run I believe that D1 is doing better than it ever has before.

Hey Everyone,

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I did, even though I was crazy busy all the time. DECA stuff is coming along. I will soon be holding the Chapter Presidents meeting. Also, we will finally be presenting the check to Dalton Prager this coming Thursday from the fundraiser(we raised $3832 in less than 2 weeks). Other than that, I have been really busy with school. O yea, we are getting a roll on the fashion show!! I can't wait to see everybody again!
